Nine people were injured following a crash involving a Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) bus and a passenger vehicle Monday afternoon in Atlanta. According to the Georgia State Patrol (GSP), the accident occurred at the intersection of Interstate 20 West and Windsor Street.
Police reported that a silver Chevrolet Equinox veered off the exit ramp directly into the path of the oncoming bus after failing to yield. The Chevy driver and nine bus passengers, including one child, sustained injuries in the accident and were transported to Emory University Hospital Midtown for treatment. The investigation is ongoing.
