David is a Macon, Georgia native with an Accounting degree from the University of Georgia. He earned his JD, cum laude, from the Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law, where he was elected to serve as Chief Justice on the school’s Honor Court.
David focuses his practice on helping seriously injured clients in catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, and Workers’ Compensation cases, as well as bad faith actions against major insurance companies. He has practiced in trial courts across Georgia, assisted clients in appeals before the Georgia Court of Appeals, and argued before the Supreme Court of Georgia.
David stays active in the legal community beyond his work at the firm. He is a member of the American Association of Justice and on the Board of Directors for Civil Justice PAC, Inc., where he currently serves as Treasurer. David is also a Champion member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He was the past President of the Macon Trial Lawyers Association and the William A. Bootle American Inn of Court. In addition, David is the Chair of the Board of Directors for Central GA CASA, the local branch of a national program that supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy so that abused and neglected children can be safe, establish permanence, and have the opportunity to thrive.
Macon is David’s hometown, where he and his wife, Elizabeth, are members of Christ Episcopal Church. David is also an accomplished Eagle Scout and enjoys traveling, playing tennis, playing golf, watching football, and visiting with family and friends in his spare time.
