Christy Crowe Childers received the Woodruff Award for graduating first in her law school class, then dedicated her law practice to helping the injured. A magna cum laude graduate of Mercer Law, she was a member of the Mercer Law Review and the Mercer Moot Court team. She is currently the President of the Macon Bar Association, the Co-editor of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association Trial Practice Manual, and the President of the Middle Georgia Chapter of the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers.
Ms. Childers has tried cases to verdict in courts throughout Middle Georgia. She has helped clients appeal and defend against appeals to both the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia, has experience in a wide range of practice areas, and has assisted clients in both simple and highly complex litigation matters.
Originally from Sylvester, Georgia, Ms. Childers has lived in Macon, Georgia for over ten years. In her spare time, Ms. Childers enjoys traveling with her family and friends.
Christy is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and has been admitted to all Superior Courts of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia and the Northern District of Georgia. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Macon Bar Association, the William Augustus Bootle Inn of Court, and Career Women’s Network.
